Zoffany’s Emperors Musician wallpaper in Charcoal presents the quiet drama of an 18th-century chinoiserie scene with greater depth and contrast.
Trailing floral vines frame the emperor’s musician while birds and peacocks gather in finely detailed composition, drawn from a historic wallpaper document and thought to be inspired by Jean-Baptiste Pillement.
In Charcoal (313049), the darker ground enhances the intricacy of the print, creating a more atmospheric and dramatic interpretation of this archive design. The wallpaper is available in three colourways, each offering a distinct tonal character.
Printed on a fine textile-backed ground, the surface carries the softness and depth of fabric-covered walls while maintaining modern performance and durability.
Emperors Musician is sold by the metre (random cut). Please use the wallpaper calculator in our FAQs to estimate the quantity required.
Due to the natural characteristics of this textile-backed wallcovering, subtle variation between drops may occur, creating a refined panelled effect once installed.
Zoffany recommends the use of a professional decorator for installation.
All Zoffany wallpapers are delivered with no additional import duties, customs charges, or hidden fees for Ireland.
