Zoology is an illustrated wallpaper from Andrew Martin, inspired by 19th-century sketches of birds, butterflies and animals. Designed with the spirit of a naturalist’s archive, it brings together discovery, observation and decorative charm.

The Zoology Design

Zoology has the feel of an antique bestiary, with carefully painted creatures arranged across the wall in a collected, archive-inspired composition. Its detailed illustration gives the design interest and personality, while the muted tones make it versatile for both classic and contemporary interiors.

The Curator Collection

Part of the Curator Wallpaper Book, Zoology reflects Andrew Martin’s love of travel, history and collected design. The collection brings together wallpapers with a sense of discovery, character and visual storytelling.

Paint Pairing

Pair Zoology with warm whites, soft stone shades, muted greens or aged neutrals to enhance its naturalist feel. It also works beautifully with darker painted woodwork, antique brass, linen textures and richly layered interiors.
