About Journal

Journal is an archive-inspired wallpaper from Andrew Martin, designed to evoke the pages of early botanical and zoological studies. Detailed engravings, hand-drawn diagrams and handwritten-style notes create a richly layered design with the atmosphere of a scholar’s study.

The Journal Colourway

Journal is presented in one versatile colourway, with muted sepia tones and soft neutral detail. The restrained palette gives the design a timeless quality, making it easy to use across both classic and contemporary interiors.

The Curator Collection

Part of the Curator Wallpaper Book, Journal reflects Andrew Martin’s love of travel, history and collected design. The collection brings together wallpapers with a sense of discovery, character and visual storytelling.

Paint Pairing

Pair Journal with warm whites, aged neutrals, soft stone shades or muted greens to enhance its archive-inspired feel. It also works beautifully with natural wood, antique brass, linen textures and darker painted accents.
