Darnley from the Darnley Wallpapers collection is a refined and decorative design featuring a striking central tree trunk with etched bird motifs.
Delicate detailing is enhanced with sophisticated metallic highlights, giving the wallpaper subtle depth and quiet luminosity.
Drawing inspiration from Temple Newsam, the Jacobean house near Leeds, this design recreates a much-loved chintz fabric originally introduced in Zoffany’s first collection in 1983. The composition balances heritage influence with contemporary clarity.
In the Snow colourway, the palette feels fresh and architectural, making it particularly effective when paired with painted woodwork.
Coordinating toile and velvet fabrics of the same name are also available, allowing for beautifully layered schemes.
Darnley Snow is sold by the metre in an extra-wide format (random cut), making it ideal for seamless installations across larger walls.
Darnley Snow works beautifully with the Zoffany paint collection for cohesive and tonal interiors.
