Mark Alexander’s Shifu Wallcovering showcases the beauty of natural paper yarns, hand woven to create a gently irregular and open weave.
Using paper fibres of varying thickness, the design reveals a delicate interplay between texture and tone, with the coloured backing subtly visible through the structured paper weave.
In the Parchment (MW112/06) colourway, Shifu is presented in warm natural honey tones that bring a soft, inviting glow to any space. The warm palette enhances the tactile quality of the weave, making the surface feel both organic and quietly luxurious.
This colourway works beautifully in calm, grounded interiors, adding depth without overwhelming the room.
The Shifu palette includes eleven refined colourways, ranging from soft off-whites through gentle neutrals and into richer, deeper tones. Parchment sits at the warm centre of the palette — ideal for layered, natural, and contemporary interior schemes.
Part of the Natural Wallcovering Collection: Paperweave, Shifu reflects Mark Alexander’s dedication to authentic, crafted materials that age beautifully and elevate interior spaces through quiet textural interest.
