Zoffany’s Rushes wallcovering is a beautifully subtle, textural design that reinterprets the look of woven grasscloth in a refined, contemporary way.
Created to emulate the layered character of natural fibres, this semi-plain wallpaper offers depth and interest while remaining calm and versatile—making it a sophisticated alternative to painted walls.
Woven to suggest the organic irregularity of grasscloth, Rushes features a gentle twist of colour running through the surface, introducing soft movement and tonal variation across the wall.
The result is a quietly expressive finish that works as a sumptuous alternative to painted walls.
In Silver Birch (312493), the palette is cool and elegant, ideal for creating serene, light-filled interiors in living spaces, bedrooms, and design-led commercial settings.
This design is available in one colourway only and forms part of the Akaishi Wallcoverings Collection by Zoffany, a series that celebrates refined texture and contemporary surface design.
This is a wide-width wallcovering and is sold by the metre.
Due to the natural characteristics of this woven wallcovering, subtle variations may occur between drops, creating a beautiful, softly panelled effect once installed.
For best results, Zoffany recommends the use of a professional decorator when installing this wallcovering.
